Introducing a new video conferencing experience to enterprise clients


Background

In 2017, Google announced it was splitting its Hangouts app into two distinct services: Meet and Chat. I turned the original request of “make a demo video” into a larger opportunity for the brand by helping the product/marketing teams develop a POV on the purpose of meetings. This work was made in collaboration with Instrument.

OBJECTIVE

Convince enterprise clients that better meetings are critical for a happier, more effective company and Meet is the tool that can make that happen.

CHALLENGE

In a world where people see meetings as a “necessary evil” that distract from “real work”, we’ve forgotten that the best ideas come from talking to other people.

OPPORTUNITY

What if meetings became something we look forward to?


INSIGHT

We have meetings because it gets the job done,
but we Meet because it brings us together.

When meetings are focused on humans and not resources, they drive better teams and better work.
